Support Heritage Day Fun Fishing

Seeff Dolphin Coast is once again proud to be part of the Heritage Day family fun fishing day that is being hosted at the Dudley Pringle Dam on Monday 25 September.
Fishing in the Dudley Pringle Dam is a rare opportunity. The dam is not normally open to the public and with Tongaat Hulett generously opening their dam for this family fun day, fishing enthusiasts will be given a rare opportunity to access untouched waters. Various fish species successfully breed in the Dudley Pringle Dam and anglers will be able to target any species of fish in the dam including bass, tilapia and barbel, with bait or artificial lures.
Following the new format that was introduced at the fishing event held earlier this year, the Seeff/Tongaat Hulett fun day, held in partnership with The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund, will not be a “competition” and there will be no measuring and weighing of fish. The event will start at 5.30 am with lines being pulled out of the water at 10.00 am.
A Kids Bass Fishing Clinic will also be held from 8 am to 9 am and the “Biggest Fish” to be landed will be run from 9.30 to 10 am. A R 5000 cash prize is also on offer for the fisherman who catches the tagged fish in the dam.
Prize giving will take place at 10.30 am. Based on the prizes given out at the last fun fishing event, this day will not disappoint. There will be many lucky draw and spot prizes given out , all generously donated by many Ballito businesses.
Anglers are encouraged to book at Hook, Line and Sinker Ballito or Salt Rock or on the North Coast Courier Website. The cost for bank anglers is R 100 and R 150 for watercraft anglers. Kick boats, paddle skis and small inflatable paddle boats are allowed but no motorised boats or sneaker motors will be permitted. The monies raised from this fishing morning will go towards helping orphaned and vulnerable children in the local area.
With family being one of the core pillars of Seeff Dolphin Coasts’ business philosophy, and with a well-established CSI Programme, the Seeff Team thoroughly enjoys being part of this worthy event. This is the fourth year that Seeff Dolphin Coast has committed to sponsoring this day.
Don’t miss out on this worthwhile family Fun Day, proudly sponsored by Seeff/Tongaat Hulett in partnership with the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.
